Beautiful wooded grounds, in a peaceful setting on top of a small mountain 5 minutes from town conveniences. Rooms feature nice touches of wood paneling, log beam ceilings and antique stone walls, each offering a private view of wooded forest out the back windows or assorted porches. Coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, AC/heat, WIFI, snacks and local shopping suggestions all included with reasonable room prices and pet friendly! The sound of the North Carolina rains can be heard on the metal roof at night, lulling one to sleep. Front porches with either rocking chairs, bistro tables or Adirondack chairs are also provided for each room. I highly recommend this boutique hotel. 5 stars!

I have stayed here twice in the last few months while traveling for work and it has been wonderful! The rooms are clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, and it is a peaceful space just minutes from town. It is so close to the frog level area, which has a great brewery and coffee shop. Both of my stays have been very quiet and the hosts have been kind, communicative and welcoming. I felt very safe staying here. The price is super reasonable, especially when you compare to larger hotels. Always worth it to support local!!!

Very nice Restored historic Lodge with stone walls and timber beams. Easy to check in. Everything was smooth. Nice short walk to downtown Waynesville, which is rather nice!

First time here. Going to new places can make one a little anxious, the not knowing. This an older place we were pleasantly surprised. It was comfortable & relaxing environment. Our room was very clean. Linens & towels very white & everything clean. It had some modern additions but it did not take away from the rustic feel. The location is secluded in the woods close to town & very quiet. From this location you're 5-min from some shops & restaurants & 10min to downtown area. First visit to Waynesville, NC & it was a delight & very dog friendly areas. Some things wish we would've had. A chair at the desk/table. Dish rag for cleaning coffee cups. Stirrer & cane sugar. Paper towels/kleenex. This did not make the visit unpleasant. We didnt notice an attendant on site. There could've been but we didn't see anyone & the office was empty & under renovations. We booked this stay through Airbnb so there are links for assistance & messaging available. Overall this was a great experience. Look forward to booking again.

Wonderful property close to downtown and convenient to all Waynesville has to offer. We just spent 3 wonderful nights in 2 of the accomodations. Super clean, very comfortable beds and great hospitality. New owners and they are off to a great start! One note...there are stairs and uneven walkways to access many of the rooms. My 82 year old moms did great but that is something to note when making your reservation. I highly recommend the property and am already looking forward to next time. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed over Valentine’s Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The Lodge is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, which makes it feel like a hidden gem, but it is still charming and cozy. The main house was under renovation during our stay, and even so, you can already tell it is going to be beautiful when completed. The location was an easy walk to downtown, and we loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evening. The modern amenities paired with the character of a cute inn made it the best of both worlds. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is the perfect place for a family reunion. We stayed in the large house and had lots of space for the family to gather. The place is nicely decorated, the beds and couches are comfortable, it has a big fireplace and fire pit outside, several large screen TVs, plenty of board games, and a huge dining table perfect for a large family dinner. It was only missing a toaster and a few more bowls. Would highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

What a lovely property! The location was walkable to downtown, yet it was so private that I felt further out in the country/woods. My room was very clean and cozy. The mattress was super comfortable, and the rocking chairs with pillows and blankets on the front porch were such a nice touch. I will definitely be back!
